Welcome to the right place for Itikaf guidance and registration assistance. For the past 4+ years, we have been personally guiding Muslim brothers and sisters from around the world regarding Itikaf registration in Makkah and Madinah. Our guidance is based not only on information available online but also on personal experience. Alhamdulillah, we personally perform Itikaf and have spent Ramadan in both Makkah and Madinah. Please note: we provide guidance and assistance with the registration process. Final approval and issuance of an Itikaf permit are entirely subject to the eligibility requirements, rules, availability, and decision of the relevant Saudi authorities. No approval or permit can be guaranteed.

Official Process

Registration Walkthrough

Based on Al-Haramain e-services flow — Nafath / account login through permit confirmation.

    Visit the Official Portal

    Open the Al-Haramain e-services Itikaf registration page and click “Start Service”.

  2. 2

    Login Options

    Saudi nationals / Iqama holders: login via Nafath. Visitors / Umrah visa holders: username & password.

  3. 3

    Create New Account (if needed)

    Register with passport details, Saudi mobile number, visa number, DOB, email, gender, nationality, and password.

  4. 4

    Verify OTP

    OTP is sent to your registered Saudi mobile number. Enter it to verify and activate your account.

    Select Itikaf Location

    Choose Prophet’s Mosque (Madinah) or Grand Mosque (Makkah), then read and agree to terms.

  6. 6

    Submit Application

    Fill required information accurately and click Submit. You will receive SMS and email upon nomination.

  7. 7

    Confirm & Upload Photo

    If accepted, log in to confirm attendance and upload your personal photo to issue the permit — or cancel if needed.

  8. 8

    Attend On Time

    You will receive SMS with date and location. Arrive within 12 hours of the approved start or the permit may be cancelled.
